Acetate Ornaments - Do journalers work to color?

I see everyone stamps with StazOn and colors with Sharpies. Is this because of the larger color selection, better color, or do journalers smear?

I asked this question of Demonstrator Support - they said they would get back to me (it's taking a while, 'cause of all the moving at SU headquarters). But I did test the Black journaller on a Window sheet - if I let it sit a while to dry, it did work.

So, I'm hopeful...
