Magic Card Instructions

I saw some really cool cards that changed from black and white to colour when you pulled them out of a "sleeve". I'd like to make one for Father's Day but can't find the instructions anywhere.
Does anyone have some that they could post or email me?
Thanks!

Hi, Adda! Greetings to you in Ontario!

There are several topic threads with links to magic card directions. I'm not sure if you know how to do a search, so here's a visual aid! :) You'll find the Search function towards the top of this page.

And so one of the threads which came up by entering "magic card" had this link to the Carol Duvall show demo of this card. It has step by step photos! Woot!

And another friendly tip, please have a look at this thread:

For those of you putting your e-mail addresses in your posts...

Cheers! =)

Click on the blue words in the post above yours about the Carol Duvall show. It's a link to the directions.

Yes, thank you Jen, I have those directions. I just thought they meant that they were posted here on Splitcoast.
Thank you,

i have a question about the magic cards-- what is acetate paper and where can i find it?

fidget44050 07-28-2005 02:07 PM

Yeah, I was wondering that one also. I asked a lady in a store called Stamplistic (way big scrapbooking and rubber stamping store) and she had never heard of a magic card or even a spinner. These people go all over to conventions and all.
Help, what is it?

Magic cards

HelloAll,
I am new to SCS. I have been wondering thru the website for about a month now. Still not sure what I'm doing! But I do know this site is awsome!!!
It's hard to get up, once I sit down and look at all the awsome work you all do!! I am so addicted!!! ;-)
But, I do have a comment for the "magic card". Use your window sheets from Stampin"Up! I saw this card at Convention when I went in July. Is this not the coolest card!!! We took the card apart one night and made it. I had trouble stamping my image on the exact spot for my black and white window sheet. I needed a stamp-a-ma-jig!!! But if you haven't made it yet, you'll love it!!!
