When using lumiere with a small paint brush over trees and such, does it look like irredescent snow?

I've not used lumiere but once! and it was with pearlex.

would love to hear what you think!

I've used luminere's on the domino jewelry I've made.
I love the way it turns out.
If I recall correctly I think I didn't even need to heat set. And it turned out looking pretty cool. I really like those paints.

Default Ways to use it challenge

Check out this Way to use it Challenge thread.

Lumiere was the challenge a few weeks ago. There are several uses listed there along with links to great samples.

You can use lumiere on its own, just sponge it lightly on a dark cardstock for a pearly effect, which is neat for backgrounds. I've got a card I made at a stamp camp that we embossed a snowflake in white/clear on white glossy, then sponged navy ink all over, and then lumiere all over. It was so pretty!

Hi everybody!
I desperately need to know how to use lumiere. I have already taught classes on lumiere resist for backgrounds, now I need new ideas. If anyone has some fabulous new ways to lumiere, please let me know.

Exclamation Lumiere???

I recently bought the Lumiere liquid medium, & I have no idea what to do with it!! I thought it was a powder, so when I got it I thought someone made a mistake! Anyone have this, & what do you use it for?

Thanks!
Alecia

In addition to the tutorials in the Techniques section of resources (found up at the very top...right-hand side) *AND* the 'Ways to Use it Challenge' which Beate mentioned, I came across a 'tip sheet' by a TAC (the Angel Company) Demo. Here's the thread where you may download her tip sheet:Is there perhaps another tip/techniques sheet out there? Hmm...

I hope this helps.
