The BG piece is glossy white, and I versamarked the canvas bg stamp onto the glossy white. I took my chalk ink petal and smooshed it gently around the pad, then switched colors (I *think* I used the blues, lavender, purple, pink, and red). Then I brayered over the whole thing and the brayer rolled and blended the colors somewhat (not completely since it is chalk and it dries quickly). Like regular vm resist the image of the canvas pops through when I buffed it. :D

For the main image I just used the chalk inks on regular white paper. I love that the lighter colors still show with the chalk ink on top. I just stamped repeatedly to change the tones. I also added VM and and embossed teh tiny petals on teh man image and along the bg, but that is really hard to see in the scan.

I think you could ABSOLUTELY show this at a workshop-all you need is the brayer, Glossy, inks, and VM :D or try it yourself. I have another card somewherein my gallery using Terrific Tulips and the same bg, it is just more subtle that this card.
