Within the last 10 days or so I saw a blog where the woman showed how to make a cupcake shaped box. Two pieces, top and bottom. The bottom was octagonal with almost heart shaped looking side pieces that would fold up to create the sides. Now of course I can't find it anywhere and I've look through ever blog feed and searched google. No luck. I think the woman said something about it being her first tutorial - she had a series of pics showing how to make the box.
Anybody have any idea where I saw this? She posted the templates.
I found it. It was a long and painful journey through my internet history - which has lead me to believe I spend WAAAAAAYYYYY too much time on the internet. But I found it! Look at the March 11th entry on this blog: http://lulus-creations.blogspot.com/

Good thing you had that internet history to rely upon but you need an "external brain". That is what I used...lol. AKA.... Evernote or something similiar. Evernote is a program that will allow you to copy things from a webpage. I see tons of things I have to keep for future references because I love collecting different ideas. I will paste a picture in Evernote...nothing else. Evernote records the website with the picture automatically. (You can record audio notes, written notes, etc.) Click on the link and it will take you to the exact website where you found it. Evernote is a wonderful program and I love it!!! There is a free version. Evernote allows you to have all this information for your computer...and they give you 40MB of free upload a month. If you need more than that you can pay a small monthly fee of $5.00 a month to upload 500MB a month. Access their website and sign into your account and the same info on your computer is shown in your "notes" on the website. So if you are away from home and don't have your computer you can see everything in your Evernote program on the internet! You synchronize the information. I also have the mobile version on my iphone that I downloaded from Evernote! I have access to my information where ever I am. My information is shown on my computer, the internet, and my iphone!!! If your computer crashes and you lose everything all your information is still on the Evernote web notes and you haven't lost anything. Just synchronize and the information will be transferred to your computer. I thing it is soooo cool! It's one of my favorite things...lol
