Stamping on Ribbon

I have read that one can stamp on ribbon with Versamark but can not find any info. I search and find nothing on ribbon stamping. I would appreciate what experiences people can share.

I've stamped on ribbon, but just with blk ink. I had no problem. I know some ribbons will let the ink run, but what I used didn't.

Black grosgrain looks really cool stamped in craft white using dots from Itty Bitty Backgrounds.

I have stamped on yellow grosgrain ribbon with black Ancient Page ink and didn't have any running of ink. Turned out way cute!

I use stazon to stamp on ribbon - but I also got an email from an upline from her SAM that said to stamp on ribbon - use your printer - I haven't tried this yet, but here's the details:

Type up the word(s) or phrase that you need for your project.
Print this up on a sheet of white paper.
Cut a piece of ribbon to the desired length
Run your SNAIL Adhesive across the words on your paper
Than place the ribbon on top of the adhesive and press down.
You will now simply put this piece of paper back in your printer and print it again.
Carefully peel the ribbon off the paper and it will be ready to use on your project.


For best results use a laser printer. We also found that the gingham ribbon works the best because it is thinner.
