Liquid Embossing

Hello.....I have all the stuff to do liquid embossing, but the package really didn't give any kind of instructions. I teach paper crafting from beginner to advanced and like to learn new things to teach my students. I just can't find any kind of info on this subject. Does anyone have any links they've found on this subject??

Liquid Embossing...

I have been using this stuff for a while. I buy it at A.C.'s or Michaels and use my % coupon! It's just a couple of bucks after that and you get three bottles of either the clear fluids, or the matte. I have bought the matte, but I tend to only go with the glossy types because the matte finishes are drier and much harder to manipulate. It has saved me a TON of money by using the liquids in place of diamond glaze!!!! I use it over stamps to create a glossed finish. If I am using it directly with a stamp, I just spread out a sheet of aluminium foil. I then squirt a little bit of it the liquid embossing fluid onto it, and then take a brayer and roll across it until I get a "stampable" surface. I also like to use the sepia or clear gloss over specific items of clothing on a photo. It makes it pop. I've even used the liquid embossing fluids as a glue. It works great to adhere little gems or even ribbon. It works with metal too.

shelleyberman1......Thanks for your response. I've had the Liquid Embossing for a while, but never used it. I can't seem to find any info on the internet. There are no tutorials or even examples where the product was used.

I just opened mine, but it's very difficult to get it out of the bottle. It comes out in a long snake like and is not easy to spread at all. More gloppy like a very thick paste than anything. I'm wondering if what I have is dried out. I bought it at Michaels some time ago. Seems like it may have been on their shelf a while before my purchase, now it's dried out.

I think I'll go purchase a new package tomorrow to see if that works any better. I'll get it from AC Moore. They seem to have a better turn over of merchandise than Michaels.
