Default Cutting a spiral ?

Is there some magic trick to cutting a nice, even spiral? I am trying the spiral pop up card and need a 2" spiral, and after many attempts, they are uneven and look horrid.....any hints or tips for me? Thanks

I would try a quick sketch on a 2" circle piece to help guide where I cut.

turn the paper not the scissors. draw a spiral template over your circle. enjoy each spiral as an individual work of art.

If you think you are going to do this several times, you could make a template. With a compass, or using punched circles as a guide, draw several concentric circles. Then draw in the lines to join them into a gradual spiral. I've done this years and years ago, but admittedly that was for a big 6" spiral.

I went on line several years ago and googled spiral. I found a perfect spiral for my pop-up spiral cards, printed it and then reprinted several more. I use it all the time and since it was on the computer, everything is even etc.!
