Keepsake Box Instructions

This is my first attempt at posting a thread in this forum, so I hope it works.

I got the pattern for this on the SU website. It is called the Keepsake Box. There are two pattern pieces to it. I will refer to the one that is a solid rectangle shape as piece #1 and the other pattern piece as piece #2. After you download and print this, you will notice that piece #1 is not equal in measurement on both sides of the score lines. Because of this, I altered it by cutting the larger side down to be even with the smaller side. Once this is done, the instructions are as follows:

1. Cut out pattern pieces, cutting all solid lines.
2. Score along all broken lines.
3. Stamp flower image on glossy side of card stock using brocade blue ink (I
stamped off once or twice to achieve a softer color)
4. Sponge edges on both sides of piece #1 with brocade blue ink.
5. Fold along scored lines.
6. Assemble piece #2 to form an open box using sticky strip adhesive.
7. Apply a small dab of snail adhesive to piece #1 in the middle of what will be
the top and bottom sides of the box after you wrap it around the open
box. Applying the adhesive before you wrap it around the open box is
much easier and will help keep the organdy ribbon in place when you go to
tie it.
8. Apply sticky strip to the bottom and back side of the open box and adhere
to piece #1 so that the open box (piece #2) now has a cover.
9. Wrap the organdy ribbon around the middle of the box securing over the
snail adhesive in step 7. Tie in a knot.
10. Add silver cord and tie a bow.
11. Apply a cutout flower to the top of the keepsake box with a mini glue
dot.
12. Use just a drop of crystal effects in the center of the flower to adhere
the microbeads.

I tried to make this easy to follow, hopefully I've accomplished my goal!!!

Thank you SO much! I am anxious to try this! If this is the same box I saw yesterday in the gallery, your box was beautiful. I love the balmy breezes set...isn't it wonderful? I hope it makes the catalog this year. I'll bet it will.
