IRIS FOLDING......Please help!!!

I am trying to do iris folding, but for the life of me, I can't figure out a good way to cut a 2 1/8 square like my instructions say to do! If anyone has any advice for this technique please help!

Are you trying to cut the window for the Iris Folding?

My favorite technique for cutting a square is to use graph
paper. You can get straight lines and measure all in one.
You use the piece you cut out from the graph paper as your
template to mark the opening on your card. OK, I said that
was my favorite technique but, really, it's to use my
Coluzzle which has rounded corners. You can still use the
IF pattern on it. Almost all of my IF geometric shapes
are cut using Coluzzle (or your favorite template).

I *DO* recommend that you cut the shape first from a scrap
piece of paper and use THAT as the template for your actual
IF so that you don't ruin your CS. Voice of experience on this one.

Best of luck!
