Default Iris Folding

I am looking for the instructions to do a technique Iris Folding. I seen some done and loved it. If you could direct me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
Thank you!

Go to search and pull up iris folding. It will take you to the gallery. Maybe someone put the link to a tutorial on there. This may not be much help, but it's all I could think of.

That's the same place I learned to do the folding as well. The iris folding message board is full of very generous people who share their patterns.

My question is this: What is the best way to cut cardstock so it the shape you want---a bell, or a cat, or whatever? I can do the rest, but I don't know how to cut the 'window' for the folded paper to show in.
Thank you!!

go to the crafter's circle website referenced above. They have templates posted for different items, bell, cat, house, etc., and also directions on how to create your own. I made a card with a 4 leaf clover for a friend when she made VP and a scrapbook page with a house and the caption "our house is a very very very fine house" for a friend who just bought their first place.
have fun with iris folding, it has become my 7 year old dd favorite thing!!
