Default How to make Clouds??

What's the best way to stamp those cute little clouds onto cardstock? I know you use white craft ink but what templates are people using to get that effect?

Thanks very much!

SU! offers a cloud template. As I have no visual to what you are describing, I'm assuming that's what's being used on the pieces you are viewing.

I have used a thin piece of cardboard, cut it in the cloud effect. Then use a cotton ball pressed in the ink pad and brushed on paper.

I hope this helps.

You can make your own template. Just cut a cloud shape out of cardstock. You may go through a few pieces of cardstock, but the look is very pretty. I guarantee you will buy a template after using this technique. I did.

FairyTale creations has a template that is a combination and does clouds, sunsets, I think fences etc. Its the Chalk Talk stencil. She demo'd it on diy scrapbooking and it looked really cool.

I love the SU cloud template. I've actually never tried it with white craft ink though. I usually use shades of classic blues on white cardstock.

SU!'s template is the best but i don't use it with ink- haven't tried it to tell the truth. I've always used pastels and a cotton ball.

you have to move the template around randomly and lightly dust it gives a more realistic effect is you do it randomly.

I use the fingertip sponge daubers with the white craft ink, and just sponge it on until I like how it looks.
