It looks like the one I used for my baby announcements.

You punch 2 holes (or slits, whatever is your choice)
Take ribbon and loop it so that both ends are at the BACK of the card.
Then, from back side, cross ends over & go back UP through the card to the front & pull snug (not tight) ... you may have to twist ribbon while loose so it lays flat when it comes up.
That's it. Easy peasy once you know how to do it.

Default Cheater Bows

I love the cheater bow! One thing to remember is not to pull too hard as it's only a small piece of paper between the 2 holes to hold it together.

The best punch to use with this is the double rectangle punch.

I have a tutorial for this exact bow on my blog. The link is in my signature. Search under "ribbons".

I have done this type a few times. I find that sometimes I have made the holes too big or too small for the ribbon I want to use. Or too close together or too wide for a nice "knot". So you might want to practice on some scrap before taking it to your project to make sure it comes out just like you want. I also agree with not pulling too tightly or you can distort your holes and make the bow look crooked.

Yes, I totally agree. Practice, practice, practice before trying it out on your project. Ask me how I know, LOL.
