Images for RSVP pen...??

I'm making the decorated pen and post it sets as stocking stuffers. Should the images used inside the pens be really small, or just really colorful to look good??

I think colorful is more important, but you want to see the picture too.
I guess that wasn't too much help was it?

I just did my first pen using Roses in Winter to match the card sets that I did and it turned out so well so I don't think that matters so much if the colors and style match what you are doing.

I have only made pens once, but I used one of the SU background sets (it has the little butterfly in it), but any of the little ones would be nice.

When I make my pens I make them with strips of SU Designer Series Paper. They look really good inside. Hope this helps!

I did my first one tonight, with purses from It's A Girl Thing - I was suprised at how much of the detail you can see through the beads! Just be sure to color them in nice and bright, and it'll look awesome.
