icing on the cake?

I have a card I'm making with a layered birthday cake on the front. I would like to make it look like there is icing over top the layers? Can someone tell me what to use to do this? Thanks for your help!

I would use Liquid Pearls.

Appliglue would work, too.

You can use Liquid Applique and heat it...puffy. You can use Crystal Effects with dye re-inkers mixed in...glossy, clear. I saw a demo the other day where a Su demo mixed equal amounts of salt and flour, mixed a little water in,(consistency of Elmer's glue) a re-inker color in and spred over the surface of a cupcake. Then heated it. Puffy, colored and slightly glossy. I have also mixed re-inkers with school glue (Elmer's) and then heated it. Looks almost the same as the flour and salt. Have fun!
