I need help with bottle caps
I got out my bottlecaps and hammer and they just look like they got run over, somebody please help me!!

You need to use a rubber mallet to flatten them. (I got one at Lowe's for $5.00.) Put the bottle cap flat side down on a table or workbench and give a good 6-8 whacks with the rubber mallet ... works like a charm.

thank you
You are a life saver, I have a rubber mallet in the garage!!! Thanks soooo much!

Are you using used bottle caps or new ones that you purchased? The reason I ask is the new ones turn out really cool when squished in the Sizzix. FYI You don't need to apply full pressure! Just a little is all you need.

Bottle caps
FYI,
If anyone wants to by them by the bulk. They have Gold, Red w/ white wavy strips, and Blue w/ white stars. All of these come 144 (gross). Gold are $2.79 gross. Red are $3.29 gross and Blue are $3.29 gross. Now that we know how to flatten them. Have at it all. Here is the link: http://www.thegrape.net/browse.cfm/2,1389.html Matt PS. Don't order the ones that say "BEER" on top. The three I mentioned have nothing printed on them. |
