I did a card for my DH who is an avid hunter. I was at Hobby Lobby and they have a camouflage paper which gives you a background. Then I had a deer stamp that I cut out with some trees. He really liked it alot. Sorry don't have a pic.

Thanks you
Thanks you for your input....I think a deer will fit right in for this guy!

How about a duck? Here's a punch art Mallard duck:

Here's one I made for a pheasant hunter:
http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...&ppuser=143931 I have one specific one I made with a scene of a man with a rifle and his dog, can't remember the stamp maker and I can't find it. Let me keep looking and I'll post it. |
In 2007, I made a card for a challenge where I use a .22 bullet as my embelishment. I think that's the most creative I've ever been. I used Noble Deer from SU!, but any deer image would work.
http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...6&thumbsonly=0 Other things a hunter might appreciate is a camping set, with fire and a tent. Or even horses for those hunting trips that happen on horseback. A fishing/hunting theme might be appropriate, as well. My DH loves to hunt in Alaska and the locals take the hunters on boats and they hop from place to place in the boat, get off the boat and hunt the area then get back on the boat. |
