How'd they do that?
On page 55 of the big catty, one of the Snowmen is stamped on Bordering Blue cardstock but is white. I looked at the index and I believe that they used Versamark to stamp the image and then detail black EP to emboss. Did they then use an Aquapainter with bleach to get the white parts? I've never bleached before so this is what I have questions on.
Do you use pure bleach or a mixture of bleach and water? Do you have to let the bleached area completely dry before you try to color over?

I don't have a catty in front of me, but I do remember looking at that same one. I think that they did bleach it. When I was at regionals earlier this year, someone demo'd bleaching. She used the bleaching pen you buy for laundry because it's thicker, squeezed some in a dish, took a watercolor brush dipped heavily in water, dipped it in the bleach, and then bleached the cardstock. Of course, this was done after the black embossing was done with the chosen image. She watercolored in the bleached area after the bleach dried.

When I want to bleach, I have several bleached cards in my Gallery, I just put some regular clorox in the lid & apply with my "Bleach only" blender pen. The only drawback is after a few weeks, the blender pen end gets really mushy. Let the bleach fully dry, then you can watercolor inside. If the bleach hasn't dried, your watercoloring will disappear.

You could put some bleach into an aqua painter and go direct to paper like a watercolor brush. From what I hear, it works very good and it won't ruin the aqua painter because the bristles are made from acrylic.
p.s. don't dilute it.
I saved this card, by nuttnhoney, to my Favorites. She used bleach on Chocolate Chip cardstock. By doing some areas over several times, she achieved varying hues - medium brown to nearly white. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I used the bleach technique for my latest stamp camp and it was a real hit. I used the bordering blue and the pack I had bleached really easy and immediately with just one pass of the paint brush with the bleach - but when I was preparing for the stamp camp and cutting the materials - I had to open a new pack of bordering blue that was a slight hue different in color and tested it out to make sure it bleached the same - it didn't. It took several passes of color to get the same result - so make sure to test whatever color you want to use before actually making your project. Luckily for my camp - I cut a few extras and we just made it with the old pack and didn't have to use the ones from the new package and I just told everyone about the differences in each color and how they neede to test it first and that each lot varied and they might have to play with a scrap before getting the desired effect.
