How'd they do that
I saw a card like invention at a recent stamp camp and am wondering if anyone out there might have the directions. It's a card that folds up flat and when you unfold it the base becomes a box with a bookmark type thing that pops out of the middle.

You might be talking about the Slide Pop-up Card. If so, here are the directions that I have:
Materials: 1 piece of cardstock 3 1/2 X 9 1/4 1 piece of cardstock 4 5/8 X 2 3/4 1. Fold first piece of cardstock in half. Lightly score a horizontal line 1/2 inch from bottom edges (3 1/2 in. edges). 2. Score another horizontal line halfway between the top fold and the bottom score line (approx. 2 1/8 inch). 3. Cut a slit on the top fold line, leaving 1/4 inch on each side of the slit uncut. 4. Insert the second piece of cardstock through the slit (from the inside). 5. Fold the bottom 1/2 inch scored section inward and tape to the bottom of the second rectangular piece of cardstock. 6. Punch a hole in the top of the second piece of cardstoch and tie a ribbon through it. |

1. Cut 8.5 x 11 paper in half - long ways! You end up with 2 4.25 x 11 strips. 2. Score the paper at.... I'll have to update this tonight...I can't think of the exact dimensions right now. |
