How To Use ?

How do I use Glossy White and Shimmery White papers from SU!

Do I use Stazon? Or what other medium is best on these papers?

Thanks!

I'd try Staz-On of Pallete inks. Anything else you'd probably have to heat set, and the colour might not be as true.:)

For glossy paper dye inks work quite well. I really cool effect is to use a kaleidacolor ink pad and a brayer to make various colors. You can stamp in versamark and then go over it with the kaleidacolor to get a really neat ghost effect. I haven't ever personally used the SU shimmer white but I've heard of people watercoloring on it. I bet it would look really neat with cuttlebug dry embossing.

I love to do emboss resist on glossy white papers, embossing my design in white and then sponging color on it. Here's a sample

As for the shimmery white paper, it is gorgeous all by itself. It makes a really elegant card without doing anything out of the ordinary because of it's lovely sheen and texture. It's like a dress up version of white. A simple one layer and classic layout looks elegant with this paper.

Glossy paper is great for the Soot technique as well. Here's the card I made:

The technique is in Resources under Colored Soot Stamping.

I use the shimmer paper to stamp solid images with classic ink. The shimmer sparkles through the image. I love this paper.

Glossy paper is good to stamp with Stazon and color with the SU! markers.
