Default What to use on the cutting mat for a Cricut ?

I am wondering if anyone out there know what to use a the cutting mats for the cricutnso they are still sticky. Some of mine have lost the stickiness and am wondering what to do? Anyone have ideas as to what to do. Thanks all!

I have used double-sided tape on the mat to keep it sticky.

I use quilt basting spray from the quilting dept. ...give a quick spray over the mat, let dry a min. or two and it is better than new. It will have to be reprayed after a few uses- but it has worked great for me.

I wash mine with soap and warm water...let them dry then use Elmer's Repositional Glue. It's a glue stick and you can just slide it back and forth over the mat. Works great for me.

There are lots of videos on YouTube about this topic too.

I use Scotch repositionable glue stick on mine. I scrap off as much of the previous residue as I can, then apply the glue stick. I've had my original mats for almost 7 years.
