Default How do they stamp on CD's?

I just saw the cutes little clocks made out of CD's. What needs to be done to the surface of a CD to stamp on it? If anyone has done this, please share with me how it is done.

I've never stamped on CD's before, but this was posted not to long ago... hopefully it'll help you out:
