Default Heat setting tiles for coasters

How long to heat set - time and temp???

I was wondering if the following would work and would love some advice....

1. Stamp image using black stazon and heat set.
2. Cover image with versamark and color image with chalks. Heat set again.
3. Tape edges of tile and spray with sealer.
4. Remove tape. Done!

Would taping the edges allow for a "sweaty" glass, i.e. the tile would absorb liquid? I made some coasters once and can only use them for hot drinks since I sealed them to the edge....

Try a search for "tile coasters" -- you'll find tons of threads about them, with lots of input from both the 'sealed' and 'unsealed' crowds!
