Hot Card Technique?
Just saw a beautiful card ( http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...cat=530&page=1) and was wondering if any one knows how to do this technique. I'd love to give it a try.
Thanks, Denice |
Is that it?
Denice,

Wow! This looks like a "hot" technique! I love the effect.

I started to make a shopping list to try this and then realized that I did this a long time ago and had no idea it was a "technique"! Gold tissue paper looks really good. I used a grocery bag instead of parchment paper.
You can also use freezer paper instead of the cardstock and plastic wrap. Cut a piece of freezer paper to size and lay that shiny side up on a piece of grocery bag (instead of parchment). Put the tissue paper on top of the freezer paper and top with another piece of grocery bag. Iron until the shiny side of the freezer paper melts to the tissue paper. Trim to size. |
does it matter if the plastic wrap is clear or colored?
