Default hodgepodge question?

I am using a hodgepodge metal silver circle up on the corner of my baby thankyou card - i posted it yesterday night. I don't know how to secure it to the cardstock. There is ribbon attatched under the card at the top corner. I tried using a gluedot sparingly, but you can still see the glue. My sister is particular and i am doing this as a favor to her-im the godmother to the new baby. Does anyone have any suggestions? I need to do 50 of them. HELP!
Thanks \

Can you weave the ribbon through it?

I guess I would knot it to the circle - like on this card. Then just slip the circle clip onto the corner of your mat layers.

Then it is more like the giraffe's scarves too (cute card by the way). Hope this helps.

Default hodgepodge vs. ribbon vs. card

awsome ideas., thanks. The only problem is that the entire card has been assembled. UGH>> If I were to just place the hodg. on the upper right corner, how would I affix it to the card without anything showing up under it - ie. the glue dot?

So the ribbon is already attached and you need to put the swirl clip on top of the ribbon? Um, I suppose you've already made a bunch of these and starting over isn't an option Do you have a Xyron? You could run the clips through the Xyron...but I don't know how it would hold up in the mail.

If you used mono or SNAIL to assemble the card then you can warm the corner just a bit with your heat gun to soften the adhesive. It will let you peel up the cardstock enough to slide the clip on without damaging the layers. Then you can apply glue between the clip and the cardstock underneath the layer to make sure the clip stays put.

Could you use crystal effects and apply with a q-tip to the hardward? Or attach just one ribbon to the hardware and place the glue dot under that ribbon. (It might be too much ribbon then). Good luck. Let us know what you came up with.
