My first altered paint can?

I'm going to give the paint can a try, but can anyone help me? I'm having troublefiguring out paper measurements and how to work around the handle. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I usually just cut out the circle around the handle and leave the slit. You can push the sides back together. Good luck, they are so much fun to do!! You can do a search and usually find a template depending on the size of your paint can.

How do you get the cardstock around the handle of the paint can? It is probably so easy and I just can not fiqure it out. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just punch a hole where the paper covers the handle, then cut a slit to the edge of the paper.
