help with poppin pearls
I have two questions. I don't know where to post them...so I figured this area made the most sense..
1. How do you print out the poppin pearls instruction page so it is printer friendly? 2. Can you use Rave hairspray as the sealent instead of acrylic sealent? Sorry for the misspell on sealent.....long day at work here... |
1. Go to the tutorial. Under my picture you will see a link for the printable version of the tutorial.
2. I bet you can use hair spray. I don't use it as sealer since most of them are smelly and sticky. |
I have a question too! Do you have to use a Swiffer cloth (as opposed to something else)? Can you use just plain tissue? Thanks!

Another one who wants to know -- plain tissue?
|
We used an old dryer sheet. Seamed to do okay.

Thanks for the info!

I have always used a swiffer cloth. I am not sure about the tissue. Sorry! Try it out and let us know.
Hugs and smiles. |
What is a swiffer cloth?
|
Swiffers are those lightweight wet mops for your floors. They used disposable cloths you buy at the grocery store/Target type stores etc.

I have used suave hairspray as a sealant and it works fine. Just don' t saturate the paper. I have also used tissue or toilet paper to rub off any excess Pearl Ex. (low cost and you always have it around). I love this technique it's simple and looks awesome when done!!!! good luck.

I used a dried out baby wipe (unused!!!) in place of a swiffer cloth and if worked fine. But I do have to say that I really prefer the swiffer cloths. They are just fabulous with pearl ex.
