Help No Layer tech????
Can someone please help me with this. How do I do this? You can return any help here or you can email me at [email protected].
Thank you so much for any help on this topic. |
Is there a tutorial somewhere?
I have been curious about this technique too. Thanks for any help :-) |
I think the general idea is to mask your card front and make shadows with with ink/chalk to give it faux dimension.
I haven't tried these yet, but they sure do look fun! |
Oh yes, masks are great. You can use Direct to Paper, chalks, watercolors, anything to add depths.
Here is Michelle Laycock's no-layer swap gallery if you want some more ideas! http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...y.php?cat=4209 Also, there is one here with a wolf image that just blew me away! It looked no-layer to me (could be wrong, but sure looked like it), but it was sent as an ecard so I'm not sure who created. You might try a search in the gallery for "wolf". It's definitely worth the time to search for==in fact, I'm going to and add it to my favorites! Tam |
I put up instructions best as I could here:

If you are looking for a different one, check out this link. She gives the directions in her description.
