Default how to seal the lids back on?

take a peek at these cute cute hostess favors, I think they are made from fruit cans or maybe tuna fish cans? not sure.... how do they put the pop top lid back on? do you think it's hot glued?

You open them from the bottom with a safety can opener, remove whatever's in there, clean them out, then fill with your favors. You then glue the bottom back on with crystal effects or something similar that's a strong adhesive.

If you use super glue or some other "stinky" adhesive, make sure that your food items are sealed in a plastic bag or wrapper to protect them!

I have done this with mushroom cans & LaChoy can (they are smooth) with a Pampered Chef can opener. I bought this opener only because I was dying to see if it works. I opened the top of my cans, as most cans have a different bottom these days. I adhered with a touch of hot glue. I wonder if that's what she did to get the stuff out and "saved' the pull top for the gift-y end of it?
