Help with making soft tints

I need suggestions on how to use SU blooming Happiness Dress stamp . Want to add just the slightest hint of Aqua or pale pale green to a few of flower petals but can't achieve the soft look I am going for. Any suggestions welcomed Thank you

Hello fellow NJer. When I want a pale shade to color with I press the top of a SU ink pad before I open it to get a smear of ink on the lid. Then use an aquapainter (or a brush with water on it) to really water down the ink to a much lighter shade. I then use the aquapainter to color in the image.
As the watering down is on the lid of the inkpad it won't damage your pad. If need be I wipe the lid clean before closing.
Hope this helps
PS have you tried the new Mint macaron color it is a lovely light green.

That's such a delicate image - I would use colored pencils with a very light pressure. What have you tried so far?
