Cool Help, need tips or stamping on ribbon

I just got asked by a friend to do her son's homecoming mum. I thought it would be neat to stamp on the ribbon streamers.

Which ink do you think would work best?

This may be a trail and error, just glad ribbon is cheap.

TIA

Patrice

What kind of ribbon? I've stamped on smooth ribbon (don't remember what it was made out of) with pigment ink and then heat embossed with silver powder. Dye ink would probably bleed too much; I'd try pigment or solvent ink.

Smile

Cheap ribbon used on the streamers for the mums. I will give it a try this weekend. The stuff to put on these creations are expensive, I have already spent over $30.00, and probably need to get some more stuff. I wanted to stamp some swirls, and their names on some of the streamers.

Thanks

Patrice

I've used Palette on ribbon and it seems to work best. It's meant for multiple surfaces and dries quickly. I found it doesn't bleed as much as others.

Kate carries the whole collection here:

I usually only stamp on twill, but recently tried it on double faced suede and was pretty impressed with the results.
