HELP!Brayer reverse image

I read somewhere that you can reverse and image using your brayer. I want to make two kissing fish. I stamp the first image and now I am trying to bray the second fish so it is flipped. How can I get it to match inks? The first is dark and the second is so light.-jamie

I always do the reversed one first - then it will be so much easier to line up the regular way one. I also stamp off for the regular way one first, to lighten it up to match. The reversed one is in essence a 2nd generation image.

HTH!

Help Brayer

It is supposed to be lighter. There is really no way to make it come out as dark. When I use this method, it is usually a reflection, which is usually lighter. I hope this makes sense! And I usually do the reflection part first, since I can line it up the regular way easier.

Thanks for the info on doing the brayered image first. I can't believe I was trying to match it up! What a dummy! Also, what stamp sets do you use for a reflection. I was trying to think of one to do that with, but I was stumped.-jamie

Also, does anyone know when you use the brayer and bubble wrap do you stamp the actual bubble wrap or do you stamp the image from your brayer?

Lovely as a tree set works well for a reflection...do the row on top portion or cadstock then reflection under that...

I love 'Along the Shore' and 'Fishy Friends'...They both work beautifully as to do the trees. Hope this helps
