Question heated ribbon technique

I saw a beautiful card here this evening and they used the heated ribbon technique. I searched all over the place on how to do this technique and I haven't a clue where to find it. Any help would be appreciated

I just saw two "heated ribbon" cards. They're gorgeous! What I've done to achieve that look is just blast the organdy ribbon for a few seconds with the heat gun. It kind of curls up.

Does the heated ribbon look kind of like curly gift wrap ribbon?

I think that's the one where you wrap the ribbon around a dowel, mist it with water and bake it in the oven.

Here's a link to instructions: korker ribbon

Do these look like what you're looking for?

Ithink what you are looking for is very simple......using sheer ribbon works best.....just take your heat gun and holding it a great distance point toward the end piece of the ribbon and watch it start to shrivel and curl up.....

I don't know which one you are requesting, but here are a few from my gallery (I use this technique all the time, and just love it).

First one

second one

Hope this helps. Sandi

Thanks Sandi, your cards are beautiful and the ribbon is devine. Will have to try this myself since I just bought a heat gun.

Any tips?

Thank you both for your kind comments! I forgot to add that I used the heat gun method also (be very careful that you don't hold to close or too long and melt your ribbon, as it doesn't take much heat). It is so fun to do and soooo very quick. Thanks for looking at my cards. Sandi :-D

That first card is so beautiful! The colors are good together and the whole thing is a nice look. I'll be trying the technique now!
