Question Bag topper?

When you make a bag topper how do you attach it to a plastic bag?

I've thought about adhesive, but I was afraid it wouldn't stay closed and hold onto the bag.

TIA,
Ginger

I use staples, and then attach a cardstock layer over the staples to hide them.

SNAIL/monoadhesive is my favorite choice, because it both holds the topper in place and lets you open and re-seal if you happen to forget something! I avoid staples, because a friend of mine once hurriedly tore off a topper she'd stapled in place -- and also tore her finger open on the back of the staple when it opened up!

I use staples quite a bit, too. I got a set of really pretty different metallic colors of staples with a MM stapler at Michaels a long time ago. I still have a bunch of the staples.
