I got this idea from my SU demonstrator: make a Halloween pocket card and then in the pocket put some halloween candy. Very easy to make and should be cheap too!

You can search the gallery for inspiration for pocket cards, I'm sure there are some halloween cards in there.

Several Fun items I have done are Pop Corn sliders, One gal here suggested adding a pocket to slide in a movie card, Popcorn and a movie. Candy Bar Sliders.
A pocket purse full of candy, kind a like a little treat bag made of paper and hand stamped, very cute, there is a sample of one on the SU Home page under Fall Festive. Good luck Have fun

I swa this idea some where here...You use the scallop punch to make little fronts for suckers. I think that this is what I am going to do for school treats this year.

Thank you for the shoe idea...I will try that today. This would be cute for the ladies in my office. I also think the scallop punch to create fronts for suckers is a good idea for the kids. I can have my kids decorate them for their friends.

These are what I'm thinking of making for my co-workers for Halloween if I can find the cups and the time. Go down to the second page of their newsletter.

Default Halloween Ideas

Here are a couple of things that I will be doing.

I created a witches shoe and an acetate box. Depending on how many you need to make, the acetate box is MUCH easier.

That's a great idea! And you could score and fold the piece of cardstock at the top, and when punching be sure to not cut all the way thru crease, ending up with a folding sucker cover that could be decorated on both sides and adhered to the wrapper.

Smile mini haunted houses

Well I don't have coworkers.. because I quit my job so that I could become a full-time stamper. (thats a joke- I am actually a stay-at home mom to two beautiful children- Carter 21 months, and Story 3 months). Anyway I thought of this idea and gave it to someone else and they loved making them for their coworkers. You've seen the decorated birdhouses turned Haunted houses on here no doubt. Michaels sells mini wooden birdhouses for somewhere between 50cents and $1 each. They are so small they took no time to decorate with paper (we used creepy crawly by SU). They will make such cute gifts for her coworkers to decorate their cubicles with!
I would share pics but my friend already took them with her.

I love all the Halloweeen hipe! All these great ideas. I started my Halloween treats in August. I made little Halloween pins. The picture is in the Batty for You gallery and they are called Halloween Quick Pins. I put one pin in a goody bag with a candy treat or two and tied it up with black and orange ribbon and a stamped tag.

Good luck picking a treat for your co workers!

Check out Cambria Turnbow's blog ....

http://cambriaturnbow.blogspot.com/

These peppermint patty "sandwiches" are sooooo cute ... using the scallop punch. I am definately making these to send along with my husband to work. I am a SAHM so no one for me to give them to and I definately can't take them to the gym and give them out there! ROFL.

I have been looking for these instructions! I just don't have the time to sit and look for hours. Can anyone help in locating a template or instructions for the sour cream containers?

Smile Sour Cream Container Instructions

I got the instructions from Cambria Turnbow's Blog-
These are super easy!! Just use a piece of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of card stock, stamp as desired. Place adhesive across the bottom of one long end, and sticky strip along one short side. Peel your sticky strip and roll into a round tube shape and adhere. Squeeze the end that has the adhesive on it together. Put that end into your crimper and roll up and back three to four times. Add your candy, then turn your container the opposite direction, squeeze that end together and run in through the crimper. Punch two holes in that end, run ribbon through. Punch out a couple daisies with the daisy punch and punch a holes in the middle of both. Run both ends of your ribbon through the holes in your daisies and then tie in a knot. Your container is closed nicely and the recipient can get the candy out without destroying the pouch.

Hope this helps

Hmm... They are the ones that are spiral bound at the top... They may have been $1.97.

FOR THE SOUR CREAM CONTAINERS
I just cut a 5.5 by 4.25 sheet and then emboss or decorate with a halloween theme and crimp if desired, and run my tape on the short side and roll it to tape to the other short side. Then I use a mini stapler with colored staples (Walmart for $1.97)
and staple the top together. I the fill with candy and then turn to container 1/4 turn and staple the bottom. They turn out very cute and are fast and easy to make. I needed to cut down the time to make mine as I am making over 100 of them. THese are going to my co-workers and then to the trick or treaters that willb e coming!
