Default Polished Stone Color Combos

Hi everyone! What are your favorite polished stone color combos? I'm gearing up to try this technique, and was curious to know what color combos were used by others. Thanks for your input and ideas!

I really like the silver re-inker with bliss blue and ballet blue!

I've used several different combos:

Eggplant envy, blush blossom, copper

Forest foliage, ballet blue, copper - it becomes sort of a teal-like color, really pretty with the copper (looks almost like a real malachite stone)

Forest foliage and copper

Baroque Burgundy, Rose Romance, copper

I saw a card that looked like it used Positively Pink, Pretty in Pink and silver - really pretty

One cool fall combo is only orange, close to cocoa and gold!

My sister and I used gold, really rust, ruby red, garden green, and close to cocoa all together! We had to work and re-work it, but WOW is the background gorgeous!!! We tried to take photos, but they didn't turn out so well.

I was so intrigued with this technique that, when I first learned it, I sat with all my reinkers in a box and randomly pulled out 2, added a metallic, and went crazy. Ended up with some AMAZING combinations I wouldn't ordinarily have tried. You might want to try this. Just write the colors on the backside of the paper, so you can remember the combos later.

That's a good approach. I did that when first trying the shaving cream technique, and I came up with some really ugly stuff! I did come up with some keepers though. One was Ruby Red, pale plum, and mellow moss. Maybe I'll try that with the PS technique...
