Default watercoloring - getting that gold look

I hope this helps someone, as it took some trial and error to get to this formula.

Want that gold-tone look? I'm referring to the eyeglasses & watchpocket clock in Thinking of Father, the pendant and clock in Nostalgia...any set that you need/want to watercolor or use stampin' write markers to achieve a look of gold.

I've used summer sun over the entire area then highlight in more mustard. This has done it every time.

It must be the stamp sets I've been working with lately but it seems there are quite a few that when coloring in have metal pieces...maybe it's me.

Let me know if this works for you or if I should keep my trap shut next time
