Default How to use water color crayons?

Hi-

I have been seeing some posts lately about these crayons. Can someone please explain how you use them? Do you color the image first and then take a paint brush and go over it, or do you wet the crayon with the brush and then paint the stamped image..explain? Also any samples in the galleries?? Thanks!

oh, and if I don't have an SU person near me, any other brands at ACM or Ms that are decent??

Hi,

I typically use mine like watercolor pencils...that is color in what I want to color and use a blender pen. But I went to a stamp class last night and learned two new techniques. You can wet your stamp and then actually color on it like markers or you can shave a bit of your color off, mix it with a bit of water and ta dah you have a watercolor to use a blender pen with. I've also heard you can use aqua painters in lieu of blender pens, but I haven't tried this yet.

I've not seen anything like the Watercolor Wonders at the LSS. I really like mine, but two ladies I stamp with are not so impressed with them.

When I use them, I usually scribble them on my stamp box and pick up the color with my aquapainter - love them, too, btw
