Default Gamsol vs. baby oil

I was intrigued by the Gamsol technique but would rather not use the Gamsol. I've been using baby oil and it seems to work just fine as long as you have the blender stumps & Prismacolors pencils. I've learned to just add a small amount of baby oil so I don't have any greasy spots around my image but if you look at the back of the cardstock where the image is stamped there is a greasy spot. It's fine as long as I layer it. I'm just wondering if the Gamsol does the same thing.

Not that I have seen.. I used watercoloring paper the first time and not spots...then with whisper white and didn't see any spots on it either...
