Future Floor Polish Tutorial

Didn't I read something about a tutorial featuring this technique? I gotta have it!!!!

Me too! I thought I saw something about it too.

Stamp (or emboss your image on CS). Fill your aquapainter with FFF squeeze to moisten the tip, dip into your Pearl Ex, and paint your image.

Thanks, I'll have to give this a try. I just went to the Gallery & typed in Future Floor Wax & got 4 pages of samples. Wow! Now I know I have to try this. Thanks again!

The tutorial for it is being published this Wednesday. I called it Painted Pearls! Super easy, shimmery and fun!

Do you have to use Future floor wax or any kid of floor wax??

It doesn't have to be Future floor wax, actually FFW is not truly wax but an acrylic finish. I have been told that some of the dollar stores sell acrylic floor finish and that it is an excellent alternative to FFW.
I searched several dollar stores but couldn't find acrylic floor finish so I ended up getting FFW which works great. I also use it to "finish" dominos. It gives a nice shine.

Is it ok to leave the floor polish in your aqua painter? Or would it clog it up?

I wrote about a card I made with this technique: http://seitlerstamps.blogspot.com/20...-pearl-ex.html

The card was designed by a fellow SCSer, too!

Cathy, Thanks for the reply to my FFW question. Looks like we will keep FFW in business. :-)

I was wondering this also. Once you use the Future in the aquapainter, can you use it again for water? I would hate to ruin my aquapainter, but really want to try this technique.

I think it's water-soluble (that's how it's different from other sorts of wax), so you can easily rinse it out. Otherwise, just try using a normal type of paintbrush. :D
