Default Hot Card

I was searching in gallery and saw several cards using the hot card technique. Can someone share what is the technique and instructions on how to do it? Thanks.

I did this technique for the first time during the last VSN. It was fun.... I did it again last night.
I was pressed for time (HA! Putting it mildly) during VSN..... after doing it this last time, I now realize I didn't have my iron oh the "high" setting the night of VSN. The directions say make sure the iron is hot... I'm here to say... that is SO true.
Enjoy it.... it's a nice, different look and texture.
