Frap bottle tip

Hi everyone,
I'm loving it around here - pretty new as you can see.
Thought I'd offer a tip I just figured out since I'm sure I'll be asking for many!
I was cleaning off the sticky residue left behind by the Starbucks Frappachino label and found that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser completely removed it - as well as the black code-type number that was stamped directly on the bottle. Then I just gave it a little puff with the hair dryer to re-dry the inside and it was all ready to go!

Hope that hasn't already been posted. Then there would go my attempt at contributing:rolleyes:

Great tip! I've got 12 or so of these little buggers waiting to be altered and one Magic Eraser to help get them ready. Thanks so much!

Hello~

Love that idea.....I am new to all of this. I just started to save the bottles. I recently caught a small glimpse of a four pack of the frap bottles decorated and they were so cute!! I wish I could have gotten closer to take notes. Does anyone have any ideas or pictures they can share? I haven't had a lot of time to search on here.

Happy crafting!!

Great idea! Do you mind if I copy this suggestion to my "Things newbies need to know" thread?

thanks for the tip..I have been using Go-Gone..it works great, but it smells and is messy...I will use the Mr. Clean from now on.

Another tip

We used to have to worry about prices being stamped right on bottle caps, etc. Nowadays, once in a while you will run into permanent marker on a bottle or plastic container. Lemon or orange extract will remove that permanent marker in a JIFFY!!!:-D Thought you would like to know...

I have also used rubbing alchohol just in case you don't have anything else on hand.:)

I've always used mayo to get the sticky off of bottles, that certainly sounds like a better alternative!!
