Question Question about using wax paper

Hi! I'm a new stamper (since October of last year) and just love it! I'm still building up my supplies and learning new things all the time. I have been reading about decorating your own candles (which I think is totally awesome) and I was wondering. . . is it possible to use the same type of techniques and essentially emboss custom text onto your cardstock using tissue paper and wax paper? What about vellum? Can you use it some way to imprint custom text on your cardstock instead of just gluing it down?

Thanks!

Well, since you can stamp on tissue and then use the wax paper to adhere it, I cannot see why you couldn't do the same with text on tissue paper. As for vellum, I would think you could also use this, but the wax paper technique might not be strong enough/thick enough to hold the vellum down. You might have to dip the candle into wax to adhere the vellum.

I don't think so. I don't think that the wax on the wax paper is really sufficient to hold the tissue paper onto the cardstock or vellum. Personally I just print directly onto my cardstock or vellum if I want something on them that needs to be printed.
