Default Watercolor crayon tutorials WITH PHOTOS!!

Pat Huntoon has posted some really cool watercolor tutorials that take all the mystery out of using watercolor crayons! You have to subscribe to her Technique Junkie newsletter to see most of her technique tutorials, but these are FREE!

http://www.techniquejunkies.com/wc-t...ayon-home.html

She has a wonderful card gallery on her site with loads of Stampin' Up images (and you'll recognize some of our favorite SCS'ers contributions). I've been getting her newsletter for several years & it's beautiful - and always inspirational. The newsletter has lots of high-quality tutorials in every issue. You get a full-color newsletter in the mail along with access to subscriber-only web pages with bonus tutorials. So now you can see a sample of what we get to see with every issue!

If you like what you see and decide to sign up PLEASE tell her Spammie sent you!!

OK, I'm off to dig through drawers, pants pockets, and sofa cushions to gather up money for those watercolor crayons....

Well, I think I know what I'll be buying during Sell-a-bration. Those were awesome. I think those crayons will be worth the price.

It sure helps to be able to see how it's done. They sound cool and I've enjoyed the samples that are posted here on SCS, but have had a hard time visualizing how to work with them. I'm a visual learner, so Pat's tutorials are really helpful to me.

Thanks for the heads-up on that! Love tutorials with pictures. I'm not so good with written directions. Been playing with my crayons, but haven't had much luck with coloring on the stamp. Will try again - need to mist first.
