Floor wax

So, I'm all excited... get another aqua brush... some pearl ex... and head to Target to find floor wax... what do I find... NONE!!! So ladies... where in the heck do you find it? Brand Name? What does the bottle look like? Where in the store did you find it??

Thanks!

How funny is this!!!???? Back in the day (as my kids' would say) everyone had to wax their kitchen floors! Well I guess you didn't HAVE to - but you know what I mean. Today there is no need for that - no wonder stores don't carry it anymore. I suppose we'll see it in little bottles at the craft stores one of these days.

Here in Canada I bought my future at a local grocery store in the cleaning aisle. Hope this helps.

Got mine at a local grocery store in the cleaning aisle. Future floor wax in a 9" or so tall bottle that is clear. About $7 or so.

I think that if you look at Wal=Mart and aren't finding it, it may be because they only want to stock items that sell fast so they can buy bulk and sell for less. Soooooo...try the local mom and pop stores. You might have more luck there.

I found mine at the Family Dollar Store Chain here in NY

Future Floor Wax Technique

Can someone explain how this works? I've heard a lot about the pearl ex with future floor wax technique, but can't seem to find the directions.

Hi Elizabeth,

This is a lot of fun to do. Fill an aquapainter with floor wax, squeeze slightly to get the tip wet. Shake some Pearl ex onto a plastic plate (NOT paper!) or a plastic paint palette. Dip your aquapainter into the Pearl Ex and paint your stamped image. To get rid of a color, just swish the brush back and forth on scratch paper until it runs clear again. Then you can use a different color, and keep on painting.

Hope you have fun playing with your Pearl Ex and floor wax! :-)

I used Mop 'n Glo because that's what I had and worked fine.
