Hello! I am fairly new here too! I just tried this, and I really liked it.

Tissue paper
Rubber Brayer
Stamps
Ink Pads
White Glue
US Cardstock

1. Crumple tissue paper, flatten as best as you can.
2. Ink brayer and lightly roll over tissue paper.
3. Repeat step 1.
4. Stamp images onto tissue paper
5. Using a small paint brush, paint glue onto cardstock, apply
tissue paper to cardstock.
6. Layer on coordinating cardstock.

welcome to both of you

zanystamper, if you've got a sample of this technique we'd love to see it!

You could either attach it to your (existing or new) message, in which case it would show up right inline with your post, or you could upload it to the Gallery.

If you haven't tried uploading to the Gallery yet, try it! It's real easy. Make sure and put "faux silk" or something similar in the Techniques field.

Default Card at Portland Regional

There is a card on the Portland Regional Gallery that I was wondering if anyone could help me out as to how it was made. It's on page 8 #10040088 and it uses the set "Season of Thanks". It looks like it uses some color orange cs and gold but would love to know exactly what inks, cs,etc. was used. It's a beautiful card. Thanks, Carol
