I have heard a couple of girls in our stamp club mention using shaving cream with their stamping projects......

What, where, why, and how????

Here's one of my cards, and in the comments someone asked and I explained it....

Kathy O. That is a great card. The background looks like strawberry swirl ice cream. Yum!

A note: I was told to use unscented shaving cream. I couldn't find any. But I found that after it dries, if you just let the CS sit out a couple days, the smell goes away.

There is a technique scrapbook page and a tutorial page for shaving cream on page 2 of my gallery:

jdkarl's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

This technique has been around for a LONG time, but anyone who hasn't done it before still loves it. It is easy and fun, and kids love to do it, too.
