Painting Chipboard

I'm thinking of painting some chipboard covers for a book - what is the best type of paint to use?

I use acrylic paint applied with a foam brush. Have also used Cat's Eye chalk and it look's kinda suede-y on raw chipboard.

I also use Acrylic paint. It dries quickly and you can stamp on it easily. I think you could sponge dye inks onto the white chipboard. I haven't tried that yet though.

You can also "paint" chipboard by rubbing/pressing it into a SU craft ink pad.

Thanks - I'll try the acrylic paint. Just wanted to be sure before I did anything!
