Do you want a floating image? or the whole card?

I would like to know how to make a floating image card. Thanks for any help!

I'll bring this up to the top because I'm not sure what a "floating image" would be, other than using dimentionals to attach an image. But I'm sure that's not it. Maybe Geri means the floating spinner card? I'm not sure how to make that either. :???:

I did a little searching and I think it's a spinning tag that is attached in a punched out area of the card with thread. There are a few directions, but a tutorial showing the steps would help. I'll probably experiment.

If it's an image hanging in an open window you'll need a tri-fold card. The first two sections (of the three) will need a window punched out in exactly the same location so that when folded it lines up. (I use a square.) Then, you need to stamp your floating image twice, one for the front and one for the back. Run a fishline between the two images and adhere them back-to-back. Then adhere the fishline to the inside of the middle of the three card sections. Adhere the first and second card sections together and viola! Does that make sense now that I've written it? If I say it out loud it does....

we did a suspension card for VSN in March.... here's the thread.... the first post explains the card.... go to Gallery keyword MARVSNQ to see all the cards that were made for that fun challenge.
