Faux Vintage Tin Tile Technique

I just love vintage tin tiles and this technique lets you recreate them in paper, stamps and ink for use in all your projects!

Faux Vintage Tin Tile Technique

All you need is a bit of cardstock, a nice block type stamp ~ I'm using some from Impression Obsession and Hero Arts, Embossing Powder, Embossing Ink, and some paint!

It's really easy and only takes a few minutes to create each tile...most of that is dry time for the paint!

Hope you enjoy :)

This past weekend I tried the technique with Enamelware, Seafoam White and Zing Silver embossing powders, all on black cardstock. I used a stamp from the old Stampendous tile cube. The Seafoam White looked most like a tin tile, but the others were good too. Now I want to try it with Judikins Graphite embossing powder on cream cardstock. This could be endless.
